Ole waited all year to hit back at Jose & made sure he got him where it hurts

first_imgOLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER waited six months to do it.But when he finally stuck the knife into Jose Mourinho he made sure that he got right to the heart of the Special One.3 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally stuck the knife into Jose MourinhoCredit: GettyFor he made clear that he sees his Old Trafford predecessor as a whinger.Solskjaer had kept a dignified silence over the Tottenham manager’s claim back in September that Manchester United had become “worse than last season.”He also claimed it was “sad” to see the decline of the club that sacked him in December 2018 and brought in Solskjaer. But the Norwegian lived up to his playing days nickname of the Baby-Faced Assassin as he first held back on winding up relations with Mourinho before Sunday’s crucial confrontation between their clubs – which looks likely to be called off amid the coronavirus outbreak. He first declared when asked about his predecessor’s comments: “I’d rather not speak about other teams and other manager’s teams.”3 The Red Devils are now 11 games unbeaten after the 5-0 win over LASK last nightCredit: EPAThen he went for it – effectively calling out Mourinho for complaining over the loss to injury of star front men Harry Kane and Son.Solskjaer, meanwhile, has been without No 1 front man Marcus Rashford since mid-January.The 19–goal top scorer is recovering from back surgery and may not play again this season.Anthony Martial was also missing from Thursday’s 5-0 Europa League drubbing of LASK while Paul Pogba has been out since just after the start of the campaign with major ankle problems.Asked about the loss of the trio he agreed that life for him had become more difficult without Pogba and Rashford, saying: “Yeah, but I don’t talk about those two, do I?“I want to focus on the ones who are fit and the ones I have got.“There’s a chance for new players to challenge for a place in the team. It’s part and parcel of this game that you do have injuries.“We’ve managed well without some of our top players this season.”3And he left little to the imagination when he made clear that since he initially took over as temporary manager before being give a three-year deal 12 months ago that he had been cleaning up the mess left by Mourinho. He has signed Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Dan James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka and brought in Odion Ighalo on loan although he has suggested he wants the Nigerian to be signed permanently from Shanghai Shenuha in the summer.More players, including Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and James Maddison, are on the radar and he declared of the work done so far: “I felt a lot needed to be changed.“We’ve signed four players [five including Ighalo] and lost quite a few and promoted from within, lots of youngsters.“I don’t know how dramatic those changes have been. I don’t think it feels dramatic for the squad and the ones that were here. We needed certain pieces in the puzzle and they’ve worked.”MAN UTD NEWS LIVE: Follow for the latest United newsUnited are now unbeaten in 11 games and will be fighting for fourth place. He said: “I believe that we’re going places. I believe that we’re on the track that Man United need to be on.“There are different cultures at different clubs and different ways of doing things and believe in the way we do things at Man United now.“I don’t necessarily believe in everything we’ve done before but at the moment I believe in what we’re doing.“I think I’m the right man but I’m not going to sit here and talk about that. The best free software to get your startup business going

first_imgLast week, I came across an article on Entrepreneur.com that had a great list of free and open source software I think will be particularly useful to small start-ups and expansion stage companies. Give these a try and see if you can cut out some of your costs; you have nothing to lose!  Dropbox is great! It lets you store and share files online. You get 2GB of free space, but if you want more you can pay $20 to expand to 100GB. It is very simple and easy to use. You can sync files of any size or type online and across computers. I really like the feature that allows you to make changes to a file on your computer. It automatically syncs those changes to the one that’s saved on Dropbox. Evernote is a scrapbook/notebook that makes it very easy to remember things using your computer, phone and the web. You can type a text, clip a web page, snap a photo, take a screenshot – you can capture anything and organize it manually or let Evernote do it for you. Later, you can search for any of these, even printed or handwritten text inside your images! You can use it across all your gadgets, from your iPhone and Android to your desktop and tablets. Google Apps is great for collaboration and communication in a business. It includes the entire package of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sites (for creating websites and group wikis) and Google Docs (online documents, spreadsheets and presentations). The free version limits to 50 users, which is perfect for start-ups! You can also get Google Apps for Business, which costs $50 per user per year. It does not set a user maximum.  phpBMS is an open source Business Management Software (BMS) that lets you create sales orders, track clients and prospects, fulfill account receivable needs and also allows you to print detailed sales and purchasing reports. There are no subscriptions! Lemon POS is a Point of Sale (POS) software, which means that it records each sale as it occurs, keeping your inventory records up-to-date. You can run reports and analyze sales data, maintain sales history and improve pricing accuracy by integrating bar-code scanners. All of these help you make better decisions about ordering and merchandizing. SugarCRM is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software that lets you organize and share your customer information, improve customer and prospect tracking, build forecasts, and share reports. It helps you collaborate information across sales, marketing and support teams. Again, it is open source! OpenOffice is the free version of Microsoft office. It is available in many languages. The full-featured set of office applications is available to Mac users through NeoOffice.  Do you know of any other open source software that can help small start-up companies?AddThis Sharing ButtonsShare to FacebookFacebookShare to TwitterTwitterShare to PrintPrintShare to EmailEmailShare to MoreAddThislast_img read more
